Privacy Policy

Most of this website can be used without giving us any personal information. We only collect information in the situations listed below.

• Career Bato enquiry form: if you submit it, we receive the details you enter, such as your name, email address, phone number, preferred branch, budget and message. Your email address is first verified with a one-time password (OTP).
• Email: if you write to us, we receive your email address and the content of your message.
• Usage data: like most websites, our hosting and analytics providers automatically record technical data such as pages visited, approximate location, browser type and device type. This data is aggregated and is not used to identify you.
• Advertising data: Google and its partners may collect data through cookies when ads are shown, as described in the Google AdSense section below.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for any purpose other than the one you gave it for.

• To reply to your enquiries and give the counselling you asked for through Career Bato.
• To send the one-time password that verifies your email address. OTPs expire after a few minutes and are deleted after use.
• To understand which pages are useful so we can improve our content.
• To prevent abuse, for example by rate-limiting OTP requests.

Our free tools (Image Resizer, PDF Compressor, Merge PDF, JPG to PDF, PDF to JPG and COMPEX Document Prep) process files entirely inside your web browser. Your passport, certificates, photos and other documents are never uploaded to our servers, and we cannot see them. When you close the page, the files are gone from the tool.

Your selected stream, test progress and recent results are saved in your own browser's local storage so you can continue later. This data stays on your device. Answers are sent to our server only to be scored, and we do not ask for your name or contact details to use the practice tests.

We use Google AdSense to show advertisements. Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads on this site. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.

You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings (https://adssettings.google.com). You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalised advertising at www.aboutads.info. To learn how Google uses information from sites that use its services, see https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

Where the law requires consent for advertising cookies (for example in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland), a Google consent message is shown and ads are served according to your choices. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, although some features may then stop working.

Each of these services has its own privacy policy. Links to external websites, including official scholarship portals, are governed by the policies of those websites.

• Vercel (hosting and privacy-friendly analytics).
• Google AdSense (advertising).
• Upstash (temporary storage of OTP codes and rate limits).
• Google Sheets via Google Apps Script (storing Career Bato enquiries).
• YouTube (embedded videos, which may set their own cookies when played).

Career Bato enquiries are kept only as long as needed to respond and follow up on your request. You can ask us to see, correct or delete the information you have given us at any time by emailing contact@prajeetthecreator.com. We will respond within a reasonable time.

This website is meant for students preparing for higher education. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this policy when our services change. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised.
